Margaret Flowers, PhD.


Dr. Margaret Flowers is the Director of Scientific Communication and Grants for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation where she leads all scientific communications on the impact of BCRF’s research program to donors, constituents and the public via blogs and other digital media. She conducts interviews with BCRF investigators on late breaking research and regularly reports from major scientific conferences. Margaret has served as a volunteer on the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance Research Taskforce committee. She has been an invited panelist on the Harvard Broad Institute’s symposium on racial disparities in clinical breast cancer research and an invited speaker at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer 2017 Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer. She received her bachelors and doctorate degrees in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Arizona and completed her postdoctoral research at John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, CA. She joined BCRF in 2014.
