Solomon Smith
As COO and CISO for ProCircular, Solomon leverages over 15 years of leading security programs and helping large government, insurance, and educational industries reduce risk. Prior to joining ProCircular, Solomon spent over ten years as the Information Security and Privacy Officer for a global education company. During this time, he successfully delivered strategic security programs including HIPAA compliance, SOC 2, data loss prevention, security awareness training, and ISO 27001 framework implementation. Prior to becoming a security and privacy officer, Solomon was an information technology auditor for a global financial and insurance company. He was the first team member recruited to perform a deep technical audit of technologies including firewalls, databases, or IDAM systems. This was all done within the context of SOX and HIPAA compliance requirements. Solomon is a CISSP, CCSFP and has an MBA in Technology Management.
