Michelle, is a board-certified Adult Critical Care NP for the past 20 of the 27 years as a nurse. She's managed complex congenital heart disease patients who have arrhythmias, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, endocarditis, & acquired heart disease. She's aided in interventions for heart diseases from ICDs to open heart surgery. Michelle is well published & a national, regional, & local lecturer on cardiovascular topics. In the American College of Cardiology, she has a designation of Assoc. of the Am. College of Cardiology, due to contributions to cardiovascular nursing & medicine. She is an Instructor of Medicine at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine & as a Clinical Assoc. for the U of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She lectures for Penn State & the U of Penn Acute Care NP Prog. She’s a founding member of the Penn State Hershey AP Clinician Council & recognized with the 2011 Advanced Practice Clinician Excellence Award & the 2008 Kienle Nurse Humanitarian Award.
