Cal Wilder
Calvin Wilder is Founder and CEO of SmartBooks. He has designed and managed accounting and HR policies, operations and technology for numerous SMBs and is trusted to effectively balance accounting needs, reporting priorities, operational requirements, and budget constraints. His passion is to implement a solid solution for a client that enables management to focus on growing sales and profit without worrying about the back office.
Previously, Cal worked in senior executive positions in finance, investment management and operations including founding Thrive Networks, Inc., which grew to become New England’s leading provider of outsourced IT services to small businesses. Cal built and managed Thrive’s financial operations and its acquisition by Staples. He serves on boards of advisers of other emerging growth businesses, and is active with Entrepreneurs Organization.
Cal is a native of Bedford, Massachusetts and a graduate of Duke University.
