Diana B. Henriques is an acclaimed award-winning financial journalist and author. A New York Times staff writer from 1989 to 2012, Henriques continues as a contributing writer. She largely specializes in investigative reporting on white-collar crime, market regulation and corporate governance. Her work includes NYT best seller A First-Class Catastrophe: The Road to Black Monday, the Worst Day in Wall Street History, and The Wizard of Lies: Bernie Madoff and the Death of Trust. Ms. Henriques has received and been nominated for many notable awards, both individually and as a team, covering the Enron Scandals, near-collapse of Long Term Capital Management, and is proudest of her 2004 series exposing the exploitation of American military personnel by financial service companies. Ms. Henriques graduated from Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington. She is married and lives in Hoboken, NJ with her husband Larry.
