Josh Hansen

Josh Hansen served two tours of duty in Iraq between 2004 and 2007, working as an IED Hunter near Fallujah. Josh’s vehicle sustained 8 direct hits by IEDs over 7 months, causing multiple injuries before he was medevac’d out of Iraq in March 2007.
Josh lost six men in combat before returning home for a challenging healing process. He was diagnosed with traumatic brain injury and PTSD and endured daily pain. He’s experienced the anguish of war and works to overcome challenges presented to him as a result of his service.
Josh retired from the Army in March 2010 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in May 2013. While struggling to find the drive to enjoy life again, Josh lost four men to suicide here at home. He felt if it was his duty to lead in combat he needed to start doing the same thing here at home. He decided to help other Veterans find the road to recovery so they could enjoy life again through his organization Continue Mission.
