Catherine Reid
Catherine Reid is an award-winning essayist, teacher and naturalist who has taught in a variety of venues. Her latest venue being the Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, where she served as director of the creative writing program and specialized in creative nonfiction and environmental writing. Catherine is the author of several works of nonfiction—The Landscapes of Anne of Green Gables; Falling into Place: An Intimate Geography of Home; and Coyote: Seeking the Hunter in Our Midst. She is also a recipient of individual artist awards from the North Carolina Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Reid gardens and writes in the mountains of North Carolina.
