Alex Davies
Alex Davies oversees coverage of all things transportation for WIRED.com. He writes and edits stories with a focus on autonomous and electric vehicles, aviation, and infrastructure. He led the launch of the transportation section in 2016 and wrote a magazine cover story about how General Motors beat Tesla and Elon Musk in the race to build an electric car for the masses. A former reporter for Business Insider and a New York native, he has lived in San Francisco since joining WIRED in 2014.
