Dr. Frank Maguire


Frank “Mac” Maguire, MD completed his M.D. at the University of Illinois and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Having retired from the Navy after a long and distinguished 26 year career, Mac has a strong background in health care administration within the Military Health System. He served as the Deputy Commander at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda and as Executive Assistant to the Surgeon General of the Navy. He also served at both the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs as the Principal Deputy for Clinical Programs and Policy and as Chief of Staff of the TRICARE Management Activity, which oversaw the defense health program, including 75 military hospitals, 460 clinics and civilian Managed Care Support Contractors providing medical and dental care to over 8.7 million beneficiaries.
