Shannon Sanford
Shannon Sanford, RN, IBCLC has more than 24 years’ experience as a health care professional (17 years in the newborn nursery and NICU of a busy birth facility). Over the years, she has introduced thousands of mothers to the joys of breastfeeding their infants and guided them through challenges that arise.
Shannon’s mission is to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding wherever she goes. She likes nothing more than helping women establish breastfeeding relationships and meet their breastfeeding goals.
Since 2012, Shannon has been operating Wee Little Me, Brazos Valley’s first lactation center and baby boutique -now also online!
When not at Wee Little Me, Shannon is busy with private practice and hospital consulting, facilitating a monthly mother’s support group, and serving as President for the Brazos Valley Breastfeeding Coalition. She is a member of ILCA and USLCA, a committee chair for the Texas Breastfeeding Coalition, and a member of the American Business Woman’s Association.
