Heather Wolsey
My name is Heather Smith Wolsey, I am a victim and a survivor of domestic violence. During my struggle to leave my abusive situation I ran into many difficulties trying to work through and get help from the justice system. It felt as if I had fallen through every legal loophole, my rights as a citizen were completely ignored and that my voice was never heard. I finally won my freedom from my abuser and I have since turned my efforts towards closing legal loopholes, passing laws and advocating for victims rights.
