David Warhol
David Warhol has been an innovator in the video game industry for over 30 years. Beginning as a programmer at Mattel in the early 80’s, he then went on to found one of the longest-running established independent video game studios, Realtime Associates, Inc. To date, Realtime has released over 100 consumer products on game platforms ranging from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) to current console, mobile, web-deployed, and computer platforms.
In addition to its consumer entertainment work, Realtime develops in the field of “Serious Games”, non-retail games that entertain while serving another purpose, such as increasing cancer treatment awareness, fighting AIDS in Africa, training conflict resolution skills, or informing journalism.
