Steve Bratspies
Steve Bratspies is Chief Merchandising Officer for Walmart U.S.
Prior to his current position, Steve held a variety of merchandise roles, most recently overseeing Walmart’s food business, including responsibility for private brands and global food sourcing. He also has held merchandising roles responsible for the dry grocery and general merchandise businesses. With a strong focus of local assortment, innovation, price leadership, new events and promotions, he received the Merchandise Excellence Business Unit Leader of the Year award for dry grocery in 2011.
Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
