Dr. Lake is a published author with two books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble called ‘Messed Up and Don’t Even Know It: The Journey From Childhood Trauma To Healing’ and ‘People Are Bigger Than The Problems They Face.’ Ira is one of the nation’s leaders in childhood trauma, identifying the survival mechanisms that have sabotaged their chances for healthy adult relationships, and build new skills to finally grow past the abuse they suffered. He is certified in family court mediation, chaplaincy, and grief and bereavement counseling and has over 20 years’ experience as an ordained pastor serving congregations throughout Southern CA working with individuals, families, and couples in pastoral care and counseling.
