Julianne Johnson
Actress, Director, Teacher, Preacher, Grammy-nominated recording artist Julianne R. Johnson has captivated audiences for years. She performs a wide range of musical genres including jazz, R & B, Motown, Broadway, Gospel and Blues. Her most recent theatrical performance will be in Dream Girls in Portland, OR in October of 2018 in the role of Effie White, played in the movie by Jennifer Hudson.
What sets Johnson apart is not only her enormous talent, but also her ability to connect deeply with her audience.
Julianne is PAMTA award winner, Drammy nominated Actress and Associate Artistic Director of Stumptown Stages. Her involvement in the Portland community is timeless, she is a music director at PCC and with her spare time she gives back to teaching the youth.
