After 17 years & professional success managing customer accounts for tech companies, George became disenchanted with the industry in 2016. He looked for a career that would offer more than just a paycheck. He found his calling with the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO), a non-profit that provides immediate, effective & comprehensive employment services to men & women re-entering society. A Job Developer, George interfaces with the business community & CEO participants. He develops meaningful relationships with employers across a range of industries to ensure a pipeline of talent from CEO to businesses looking for good, qualified candidates. George matches the right job opportunity with the right CEO applicant. Employing Motivational Interviewing techniques, George coaches participants on their job application, interview skills & career goals. Through his work George has seen the all-encompassing positive impact that a quality job can have on an individual re-entering society.
