Marci Katona
Marci Katona has worked for the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation's (OVR) Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (BVRS) for 18 ½ years and has been the District Administrator at Pittsburgh OVR-BVRS since June 2011. In her 18 ½ years at OVR-BVRS, Marci has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor, Assistant District Administrator, and Western Regional Manager. Marci received a Bachelor's degree from Juniata College and a Master's degree in Counselor Education, Rehabilitation Counseling from Penn State University, and is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Marci leads the largest OVR district office in Pennsylvania and is proud to work alongside 97 Pittsburgh staff carrying out the OVR mission.
Some of Marci’s accomplishments include: Chairperson for the Allegheny County/City of Pittsburgh Transition Coordinating Council, Steering Committee member of UPMC Project SEARCH, just to name a few.
