Naeem Zafar

Naeem Zafar is a serial entrepreneur and founder and CEO of TeleSense, an IoT (Internet of Things) company creating real-time wireless sensing and predictive analytics solutions for the stored grain industry. His first job out of Brown University with a degree in electrical engineering was to design chips and electronic systems at Honeywell. After moving to Silicon Valley, Naeem joined Quickturn Design Systems to design the world’s first emulation system for chip design verification. Quickturn had an IPO in 1994 and was acquired by Cadence in 1999. Naeem took the role of CEO at Veridicom, a pioneer in silicon fingerprint sensors. After two more gigs as the CEO of EDA companies, Naeem co-founded Bitzer Mobile and served as the CEO of this enterprise security company that was acquired by Oracle. Naeem has authored five books on entrepreneurship and he teaches entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley and Northeastern University. He has a MSEE degree from the University of Minnesota.
