Laura White
Laura White is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer in Dec 2016 at the age of 37. She currently lives in the San Antonio, TX area with her husband of 16 years, and her two boys ages 15 and 14. Laura works as an information technology defense contractor for the United States Air Force. She was treated at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). She underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy, had a double mastectomy with reconstruction, followed by an additional 7 rounds of chemotherapy. Now that her treatment is complete, Laura has been living the survivor life through her amazing and always fun support group in San Antonio. She has also become an avid listener to the Breast Friends radio show on VoiceAmerica.com, which she credits for getting her through the difficult time of life after treatment.
