Kathleen Capone, MS, RN, CNE

Kathleen is an EdD Doctoral Cand. in Curriculum & Instruction at Capella University & is on the NI leadership team. In 2017, she went to Guatemala to provided curriculum consultation to nursing programs in private & government nursing schools. She traveled to China with a team of physicians from the Christian Medical & Dental Association to provide faculty development in clinical teaching strategies for clinical nurse educators at a hospital in Qujing. Her doctoral research includes the design of a program to assist nursing faculty in low resource countries to teach clinical judgment skills to nursing students. Her broad-based nursing experience includes a decade of travel nursing. She earned her RN from Englewood Hosp. School of Nurs., her BSN from Phoenix University, & her MSN Education from Le Moyne college in Syracuse NY. Kathleen served as curriculum chair and ACEN peer reviewer. She is currently an online adjunct professor in both the Utica College Accel. BSN & the MHA prog.
