Sara Benjamin-Neelon

Dr. Sara Benjamin Neelon, PhD, JD, RD, is an associate professor in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society and director of the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also a faculty fellow at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on policy and environmental approaches to childhood obesity prevention, with studies in the United States, England and Kenya. She completed her PhD at the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, her J.D. at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
