Robert Benson

Most parents wish they could be near their children 24/7—to protect, advise and guide them in decision making. While that’s not feasible, former Air Force Sergeant Robert Benson may have found the next best thing to being there: texting them your advice. While away from home for extended periods, Benson spent a year advising his kids with homegrown advice directly influenced by his own life experiences. Among the topics he regarded as important for a lifetime of wisdom: motivation, relationships and professionalism. THE BOOK OF DAD is a 200-strong collection of Benson’s observations, insights and fatherly advice. Personal background: Born and raised in Chester, PA August 24, 1960.
