Kaz The Spread Podcast
The Spread is a sex positive podcast that only exists because there is no sex education in Kenya. Information about sex is rooted in the negative consequences: HIV & AIDS and unwanted pregnancies. The Spread provides a platform advocating for informal sex education in our academic institutions.The global media marketplace has shifted tremendously in the past few years. Every day, new podcasts pop up on the internet. There are thousands of podcasts to choose from, however, most of these podcasts are generated and created in the USA and in Europe. In Kenya, there are less than 50 podcasts produced locally. Our podcast is the most popular in Kenya and one of the most listened to on the African continent. As the creator and producer of The Spread, Kaz is interested in further developing and expanding the podcast in a fostering environment with access to media professionals, artists, sex educators and public health officials.
