Pat Mahoney
Pat Mahoney was born in the United Kingdom where she went to school, studied, and worked until 1994. She has lived in Aachen, Germany for the last 23 years until moving to Florida in 2016. Pat and her husband have 2 adult daughters. Pat has spent 35 years working in the British Health Services. She initially trained as a Mental Health Nurse at the Maudsley and Bethlem Royal Hospital. After her nursing training, Pat pursued a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters degree in Public Health from Kings College, University College, London. Pat worked in Public Health and Health Promotion Services in London for 10 years. After moving to Germany, she was a Group Practice Manager of 5 primary health care centers for British Military Personnel and their families living in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. Pat volunteered for NAMI Sarasota County soon after moving to Florida and shortly after that was recruited onto the board and as President. in March, 2017.
