Dean Buckley
Dean is a brilliant teacher of the varied aspects of human existence, a skill which was honed through decades of exploration of many countries, cultures and consciousness. For 15 years, he served as apprentice / assistant to the mystic/artist, Mona Boulware Webb, once characterized in the New York Times as “the only artist in America”. As a musician and poet, Dean’s bardic yearning for deep connection taught him to listen to his own music as he was playing it, a skill that he brings to his shamanic drumming, which is noted for its profoundly soulful and lyrical qualities.
