Michelle Connell, CFA is the President & Owner of Portia Capital Management, LLC. Portia Capital Management, LLC is thought to be the only registered investment management firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be owned by a female CFA charter holder. Ms. Connell has significant experience addressing the unique financial needs of the burgeoning, underserved markets of female investors, charities and foundations. Ms. Connell is also one of highest-rated finance professors in the United States. Serving as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas at Dallas, she is focused on teaching corporate finance and domestic fund management coursework. She also has responsibility for management of the university’s undergraduate fund, with proceeds funding scholarships for the university’s business majors. Ms. Connell also teaches the CFA Program Review in North Texas in preparation for CFA exams.
