Connie Jones
Connie Jones is a retired nurse who contracts via ConsignMed as a clinical specialist for Medtronic plc in the cardiac rhythm and heart failure division. Her full-time nursing career started in 1975, and was almost exclusively spent in pediatric and adult cardiology, especially working with heart rhythm disorders. Prior to retirement, her position was in educating nurses, physicians, and Medtronic staff about cardiac rhythm devices such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. During the time at Medtronic, she earned a master’s degree in nursing education through Excelsior College. Before working at Medtronic, she spent almost twenty years in pediatric cardiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as a pediatric electrophysiology nurse and in the pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit.
