Eric Nelson
Eric Nelson, CIPP, CHPS, is Founder and Principal of Secure Privacy Solutions. Eric has extensive experience conducting privacy and information security assessments, including 8 years as a Senior Information Security Consultant for CynergisTek, a top ranked cybersecurity consulting firm. He was previously the Privacy and Information Security Practice Leader for the Lyndon Group and has held IT and information security consulting roles with Siemens Corporation and EDS. Eric has also participated on legislative and regulatory committees and served as an advisor to local and state governments. He has contributed to federal identity theft legislation and developed privacy and information security student curriculum for the University of Illinois.
