Dr. David Shirazi
Dr. David Shirazi, DDS, MS, LAC, MA, RPSGT, DABCP, DABCDSM, started his journey by earning his DDS degree in 2000 from Howard University College of Dentistry, in Washington D.C., after growing up in California. He continued his studies in Oriental Medicine, earning a Master’s degree from Samra University and becoming a board licensed acupuncturist. From there, while conducting his craniofacial pain and sleep center full time, he completed a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, School of Spiritual Psychology. He became the first board licensed sleep technologist who is also either a dentist or acupuncturist. In 2005, Dr. Shirazi, completed hospital mini-residencies in oriental medicine at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center and another at Kyung Hee University and Medical Center, in Seoul, Korea. He is the founder of the Bite, Breathe and Balance study group, dedicated to helping his community through the education of other doctors.
