Francisco Urbina
A self-professed geo-geek, Francisco (Cisco) Urbina has a reputation as one of the nation's leading GIS specialists, and has a particular interest in how the influence of new technologies is creating opportunities for location-based data beyond visualisation, into the workflow of businesses everywhere. As Esri Australia’s national manager for alliances and commercial sector, Francisco works closely with other industry leaders such as, SAP, Microsoft and Amazon to bring advanced GIS solutions to both commercial and public entities. Francisco has a degree in environment geography and economic history and is the co-founder of GeoRabble, an association that brings together spatial industry professionals and amateurs from all around Australia to explore the future of location-based technology.
