Melissa (Missy) Bradley
Melissa (Missy) Bradley, is a Fellow, Diplomat and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress for the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, with twenty-seven years experience as an educator and psychotherapist. Much of that experience is in the field of sexual trauma, both clinical and investigative. She has taught more than 50,000 professionals all over the US, Canada and Central America in “The Psychology of Resilience: A Multi-modal Approach to Thriving Using the Heroic Journey,” and in “Three Stages of Healing: Counseling Victims of Sexual Trauma,” both of which offer a positive approach to trauma in which persons can learn to do more than survive—rather they learn to thrive. A frequent guest on regional and national radio and TV news shows, seminars, national and statewide conventions, she addresses a wide range of topics including rape, and sexual abuse, and has received several prestigious national and international media awards.
