Rebecca Schrag Hershberg, PhD

Dr. Hershberg is a clinical psychologist and the founder of Little House Calls Psychological Services, which specializes in helping kids and parents confronting a range of common early childhood challenges. She has held leadership positions at a national nonprofit organization serving children and a hospital-based infant and toddler preventive mental health program, as well as taught in the Department of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Hershberg has been published widely (including on Parents.Com and TODAY Parents), and quoted extensively in print and online media. She has been featured as a guest on several podcasts as well as on WAMC Public Radio and Good Day Wake Up. Her first book, The Tantrum Survival Guide: Tune In to Your Toddler’s Mind (and Your Own) to Calm the Craziness and Make Family Fun Again was published in October, 2018. Dr. Hershberg currently lives in lower Westchester with her husband and two young sons.
