John Nelson, PhD, MS, RN Dr. Nelson is President of Healthcare Environment (HCE), an international data management company. He has conducted research around the world with subsequent presentations and publications that have helped advance measurement in caring science and outcomes management. His specialty in research includes measurement of staff safety in healthcare, model specification, psychometrics, predictive modeling and the constructs of caring and job satisfaction. His mathematics in predictive modeling helps organizations move from retrospective management of outcomes to prospective management of risk.
