Jasmine Burnett
Jasmine Burnett is a Black Lesbian Feminist, writer, strategist, national Black Reproductive Justice activist who currently serves as Organizing Director for the National Network of Abortion Funds. She is a lover of the herbs, mother earth and all the people they grow and sustain. She started her journey in reproductive justice through the lens of sexual liberation and visibility for Black cisgender lesbian, same-gender-loving, queer women/womyn. In 2008, she created an online Facebook community, Aunt Betty's Basement in honor of her great aunt who from the mid-1950's to early 1980's held an after-hours salon in the basement of her home in Dayton, OH for Black lesbian women.
