Originally from Deerfield, Illinois, now living in Chicago, individuals can find Jason’s work year-round at art festivals throughout the Midwest. His photography consists of abstracted, up-close photographs of nature. The texture of objects found in nature, such as flowers, rocks, or fruits and vegetables, intrigues him and pushes him to explore new ideas. His painterly style of editing creates a unique viewing experience. Focusing on the simplicity of the colors and shapes within each piece, he aims to challenge the viewers’ perception of often mundane objects.
