Eric Murphy
Eric Murphy is the Vice President of Security Research at SpyCloud. He is also a security intelligence pundit and seasoned security leader. Eric has held several executive-level roles and is adept at building and developing security organizations. Over his 15-year career in the security industry, he has been the CISO for WordPress and Squarespace and has held various roles from engineer and researcher to CTO and Director at other companies. At Squarespace, Eric cultivated, built and scaled their security division, developing a holistic security architecture to detect and predict threats in real time. He also founded their id=0 colloquium which promotes cross-company collaboration to develop threat intelligence, real-time detection, and predictive analytic models. As a security expert and leader, Eric has had the opportunity to create many security teams focused on application security, threat intelligence, GRC, corporate security and research.
