Shannon Sauer-Zavala
Shannon Sauer-Zavala is a clinical psychologist and an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky. Her research is focused on improving treatment for people with emotional disorders. She is a co-developer of the Unified Protocol, a cutting edge intervention that can simultaneously address a variety of presentations (including substance use) that are associated with problematic responses to strong emotions.
