At Colour Your Life we implement recycling programs for daily wastes. our primary recycling program currently is crayons. we recycle from places like restaurants, day cares, schools, etc., that currently throw them in the garbage where they end up in landfills. As parents, and people who care about the environment, we couldn't help but realize fresh packs of crayons at every table while out at family restaurants. That got us thinking about how many simply used items get overlooked and build up unnecessarily in landfills contributing to climate change. Our decision was to start to create a simple yet effective way to recycle items that are overlooked! We didn't want to stop with only impacting the amount of crayons sitting in landfills for hundreds of years, we also wanted to make a difference in another world issue, mental health. www.colouryourlifecrayons.com
