Dr Ken Campos
Dr Ken Campos is a passionate and dedicated psychiatrists whose professional career is focused on severe mental illness in adults. Schizophrenia, psychosis, hallucinations and delusions are his main concerns. Bettering patients lives is his goal. He has a vision for balanced, healthful, meaningful and respectful lives for those living with schizophrenia and their caregivers. He trained at Caltech in Pasadena, CA as a biologist. Then after medical school, specialized in psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Pursuing brain science, he spent four years at a lab researcher at NIH, the National Institutes of Mental Health. After 20 years of serving in closed locked hospitals he left that setting to pursue his podcast and to create long term residential care homes for his patients. He became a “distinguished fellow” in the American Psychiatric Association in 2004.
