Looking back, the single most valuable lesson I’ve learned was that our thoughts are extremely important. My maternal grandmother was an English teacher and lovingly and gently would correct my use of grammar. As a child I was so introverted that my mother actually thought I may be autistic. I misheard the word as artistic and quickly became very creative with drawing, writing and poems. We always had animals as a child and they were some of my best friends and teachers. So I became known as the Pet Whisperer and I was always asked what the animals wanted or needed. Neighbors would invite me for cookies and milk to ask me questions about their love lives and other issues. In my 20s I got away from my metaphysical roots until a car accident changed my direction. I had a near-death experience which made me super psychic. I have learned techniques on how to protect myself from the overwhelming onslaught of emotions from others. That started me on my path as a healer.
