Greg Smith, founder of Energy Optimizers, USA, has 20+ years of experience designing and implementing energy savings and facility improvement projects for K-12 schools and local government. Smith has helped more than 200 school districts improve facilities while saving energy costs. With more than $120 million in completed projects, he leads the company efforts in evaluating facilities and designing and implementing energy conservation projects for Ohio’s school districts. Smith has been recognized as a “Legend in Energy” by the World Energy Engineering Congress, named as “Business Executive of the Year” by the Dayton Business Journal in 2004 and led the company to be recognized by Forbes Magazine as an Inc. 500 fastest growing company in the United States in 2013.
