Dr Carole Weaver
Dr. Carole Weaver, PhD is a writer, college teacher, fund-raiser actor, who works with organizations by inspiring, motivating and entertaining cancer patients and survivors, supporters and caregivers, art lovers and appreciators and anyone who is currently going through, or has wrestled through, a difficult time in their lives with her unique perspective on the power of art to heal. In her book “Side Effects: The Art of Surviving Cancer”, she recounts her saga of survival through meditation on beauty, oddness, and the work of love that is art. She battles cancer and the complications that arise; but her resilience, her passion for art, the love in her life, and the creative spirit pull her through. Now she is on a mission to help others by telling them about the miracle of art in coping with life’s difficulties.
