Mia St John
Mia St. John is a world champion boxer, mental healthcare reform advocate, and mother. After earning a degree in psychology at California State University, Northridge, Mia went on to become a champion boxer, winning the World Boxing Council championship in the super welterweight division and the IBA and IFBA lightweight championships. Following the tragic death of her son in 2014, she was inspired by a close friend to give life to others who deserve a second chance, and created the Mia St. John Foundation. Through her foundation, Mia has created a valuable resource for the homeless community of Santa Monica, CA. Mia converted her late son's art studio "The Stone Art Studio" into a safe haven for the homeless community with classes to help build their motor skills, with Mia's hands-on training with classes in yoga, art and meditation.
