L. Clifford McDonald
L. Clifford McDonald, MD graduated from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed a medical microbiology fellowship at Duke University and is a former member of CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service. Dr. McDonald is currently the Associate Director for Science in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the CDC. He has first-authored or co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications on subjects related to healthcare and infectious disease epidemiology.
