Anu Pala
As a result of a retinal detachment, Anu Pala lost her vision in 1991 but she never allowed it to define her. Rather, it fuels her to motivate, inspire, and empower others to maximize their potential and opportunities and to forge ahead to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Anu often advocates for herself and her clients to ensure that they can make choices and decisions that impact their life. As an ethnic woman living with vision loss, Anu values diversity, inclusion, and equality. In April 2019, she completed her undergraduate degree in professional communications at Royal Roads University. where she received the founders award. Anu embraces experiencing life with enthusiasm, positivity and a glass half full attitude. She works as a Vision Loss Consultant, trainer, certified life coach and public speaker through her business, A-Nu Vision Coaching & Consulting. Anu has been chosen to be part of a delegation for the CSW64 at the UN, Commission on the Status of Women.
