Samira Salman
Fundraising Expert Samira Salman is the COO of a single family office; sits on the finance committee of the family’s charitable foundation, and is the founder of an advisory firm that works with family offices and high net worth individuals who make direct investments into private companies. She speaks globally on direct investments and fundraising, and is a professor at LSU Law School teaching a course she developed entitled Building Your Business and Your Brand. Samira is a former corporate tax attorney, was in-house counsel at Shell Oil Company, and was the vice chair of the American Bar Association Energy and Environmental Taxes committee. She grew up in the Middle East and Europe, graduated from boarding school in Switzerland, and has a BS and JD from LSU and an LL.M. in Taxation from University of Houston. She splits her time between New York and the Gulf Coast and travels globally for work.
