Marta McDowell
Marta McDowell is an author and gardener with a passion for Emily Dickinson. Her writing and garden appeared in popular publications including Woman’s Day, Country Gardening, The New York Times, and more. Marta teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden where she has been twice awarded "Instructor of the Year." Marta is now working on a new book about The Secret Garden and its author, Frances Hodgson Burnett, due out from Timber Press in 2022.
