Gary Rosenberg

Gary Rosenberg, MD, is a Professor of Neurology, former Chair of the Department of Neurology, the Principal Investigator of the Rosenberg Lab, and Director of the Memory and Aging Center at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. The Memory and Aging Center was created by Dr. Rosenberg in 2016 to help patients with various neurologic conditions that affect cognition and behavior, with an emphasis on disorders that affect older individuals. The Center also contributes to the research and development of new methods to diagnose, treat, and prevent cognitive disorders. He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Albuquerque area. Dr. Rosenberg is one of the leading researchers in vascular dementia and the use of biomarkers – measurable indicators of a biological state or condition – to aid in the early identification of different types of dementia.
