Ricardo Rieppi
Ricardo Rieppi, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. He is a graduate of the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Dr. Rieppi’s research and clinical interests include masculinity, bicultural identification, fatherhood, attachment patterns, compulsive behaviors, and symbolic meanings of money. He has published peer-reviewed articles in various professional journals, and most recently co-authored a chapter on shopping addiction in Beyond the Primal Addiction: Food, Sex, Gambling, Internet, Shopping, and Work (2019, Routledge). He is a current Steering Committee member of Psychotherapy Action Network (PsiAN) and a faculty member of the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He has served as Co-Chair of APA Division 39’s Candidate Outreach Committee. Dr. Rieppi is a native Spanish speaker and provides both English and Spanish psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults.
