Gaddi Vasquez
Raised by migrant farm workers, Ambassador Vasquez graduated from Orange High School, Santa Ana City College and the University of Redlands. Thereafter he became a police officer for the City of Orange, an appointments secretary for California Governor Deukmejian, a Vice President of Public Affairs for the Southern California Edison Company, an elected member of the Board of Supervisors for Orange County, the Director of the Peace Corps, and the US Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, stationed in Rome, Italy.
